Contemporary homes have been forever popular because they have always broken the mold. This style borrowed what worked, as you can see from the emphasis on clean, simple lines and strategic use of material for visual interest and personality. By using clean design elements combined with an achromatic color scheme, this modern style home appears to be extremely inviting. We designed a simple continuous exterior cladding in order to provide visual appeal. This project shows that good minimalist house design can be achieved through simplicity in forms, materials, and details. It isn’t about sensory deprivation, confined perspective, or a very rigid method of expression; it has more to do with choosing order, clarity, calmness, and intention. By focusing on a finite number of elements we are not living with less, but rather drawing attention to the color, shape, and texture of the spaces we inhabit.
